Arrangements have been made with the year 2 class for any interested students. The date for these to be done is the 18th of march, period 4. No permssion notes are needed.
If you are interested in this opportunity, your completed survey needs to be emailed to me by no later than next wednesday (12th March), so that I can check it and approve it.
NB: Surveys need to have closed questions with a limited number of possible answers if you are going to be able to do anything with the information you gather.
You can not feed the children anything in the survey, but can show them foods/packages and ask for their responses.
If you need more individual help with your survey, email me directly.

As you look over this outline, what are the first ideas about ways to approach this work? What questions form in your mind? What needs to be discussed as a class or small group? You can create a post focussing on one idea or question you have that may be useful for the rest of the class. (E.g what is your understanding of a ‘healthy snack’?) Note: not everyone’s post will appear - especially if they all say the same thing!

This site is for years 9 and 10 students studying Food Technology at our school. It’s a place to make comments about your classwork, ask questions about assignments and make suggestions to organise classwork. (This could Mrs K. answering the same question a thousand times!)
There will also be links to follow for some of your research - there’s even some there in the side bar to the right already!
The thing that will make it work is your contributions, and the discussions that can develop outside regular school hours. Like when you have the great spark of inspiration, or the ‘Aha!’ moment, about understanding some concept discussed in class earlier in the day…
So make this blog yours, with positive, well-thought-out and genuine contributions. Look forward to reading your comments and posts!
